A Glamorous Holiday Party for Disney Adults
Disney World has introduced a new event called Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This exclusive party is uniquely targeted toward Disney adults and marketed as a swanky holiday soiree. It features holiday specialty foods, live entertainment, and character meet-and-greets you can only find here. However, it's also one of Disney World's most expensive party offerings.
What to Expect at Jollywood Nights
Jollywood Nights is a throwback to old-school Hollywood, with plenty of 1950s holiday glam. Attendees are encouraged to dress the part and enjoy the holiday festivities. The event includes two specialty stage shows, fireworks, limited-time lounges, and street entertainment. It will be hosted on select nights through Dec. 20, 2023, and requires a separate ticket to attend.
Specialty Lounges and Dining Experiences
The cornerstone of Jollywood Nights is two specialty lounges: Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby and the Twilight Soiree at The Tip Top Club. The Hollywood Brown Derby transforms into a jazz club with live entertainment and a specialty food and beverage menu. The Tip Top Club offers a small pop-up bar with specialty cocktails. However, there were some waitlist issues and inconsistencies on the opening night.
Stage Productions and Character Meet-and-Greets
Jollywood Nights features two stage productions: "Disney Holidays in Hollywood" at Theater of the Stars and "What's This? Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along" at the Hyperion Theater. Guests can also enjoy special meet-and-greets with rare characters and Disney favorites in holiday attire. Lines for popular characters can be long, so plan accordingly.
Other Highlights of Jollywood Nights
In addition to the specialty experiences, Jollywood Nights offers street entertainment, a DJ spinning holiday tracks, and the Sunset Seasons Greetings projection show on the Tower of Terror. The party culminates with the "Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!" nighttime spectacular. Most attractions are open during the event, providing the opportunity to enjoy popular rides with shorter wait times.
Food and Beverage Program
Jollywood Nights offers a robust food and beverage program with savory and sweet treats available at various dining locations throughout the park. However, these treats are not included in the cost of admission and require an extra charge. Wait times for specialty food and drinks can vary, so plan accordingly if you want to try them.
